The 3GSM World Congress 2004 was held this week in Cannes, France. It started February 23 and ran though February 26.
This is the premier annual event for mobile phones, smart phones, and other related technologies. Last year, 26,000 attendees from 154 countries attended this conference.
Quite a number of new smart phones and cellular-wireless handhelds were announced. Plus, both Intel and TI talked about their plans for upcoming processors for wireless devices. Also, there were announcements of new software for smart phones.
Though the show is over, Brighthand is still getting caught up on all the news that came out of this very busy conference.
