Dell and Good Technologies are going to make an "important news announcement" on April 29, according to CNET. At this point, no details of what the two companies are going to say are available.
There are a number of possibilities. Hopefully it will be something more significant that Dell offering Good's wireless handhelds on its website. Dell could be planning to announce a new wireless Pocket PC model that uses Good's email server software for enterprises, GoodLink.
Good Technology has been making a serious bid to dethrone Research In Motion (RIM) as the wireless email leader, despite being late to the party. In October, Good announced it was teaming with Microsoft to make the GoodLink software work with Pocket PCs. The company made a similar announcement with PalmSource at about that same time.
