DynoPlex has launched eWord, the first word processing application for the BlackBerry platform.

eWord allows users to create and edit Microsoft Word documents, and also includes the ability to create formatted email messages and send them from within the application.

Additional features include the ability to manipulate documents that arrive as email attachments or accessing documents on the BlackBerry or a corporate network. A Desktop Converter is included to import and export Microsoft Word documents from the user's PC.

Advanced formatting such as fonts, styles, text alignment, bulleted lists, and more is also included.

The application is part of the eOffice Business Productivity suite from Dynoplex, or can be purchased individually for $59.95. To download a free demo version or for online purchase, visit the DynoPlex web site.

The company also makes eCell, which was the first fully featured spreadsheet editor for the BlackBerry platform when it was released earlier this year. This application provides file editing capabilities, new document creation, and full compatibility with MS Excel. It is also a part of eOffice Business Productivity suite.
