In December, PalmSource announced that Group Sense PDA Limited (GSPDA) had licensed the Palm OS. PDAfrance has a run across a Palm OS smartphone that GSPDA is demonstrating at the CeBIT tradeshow that is still going on in Germany.
This device runs Palm OS 4.1, though the company is working on an OS 5 version. It has a color display with an on-screen Graffiti area. However, the exact resolution of this screen is not yet known. It doesn't have a hardware keypad, so assumably it uses an on-screen one, as the Samsung i300 does.
It has an integrated digital camera capable of taking 640 by 480 pixel images. It does not have any kind of removable memory slot.

Unfortunately, it is unlikely that this device will ever be released outside of Asia. Under the terms of GSPDA's agreement with PalmSource, the company will develop and market handhelds only for the Asia Pacific region, including China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea, Thailand, and Singapore.
GSPDA the third largest seller of handheld computers in Asia and the second largest in China.
