Special Valentine's Edition of Bejeweled

Astraware has released a special Valentine's Day edition of Bejeweled, one of the most popular handheld games of all time.

Available for Palm OS and Pocket PC devices, the game features special heart-shaped stones as well as a secret command that allows the user to enable a hidden command that pops up a proposal while the game is being played by a loved one. Legacy For Pocket PC

RedShif's Legacy is now available for Pocket PC devices. This turn-based strategy game in the classic RPG style features a large world to explore with hundreds of different items to acquire and several different kinds of monsters to defeat.

Features include ambient sound effects and a wear/wield system that updates each characters' appearance onscreen as new weapons and armor are used.

GameBox Asia For Pocket PC

PDAmill has released GameBox Asia for Pocket PC devices, with a Palm OS 5 version expected soon. The bundle includes three Oriental tile games, including Mahjong, Shisen-Sho, and Nagori.

Features include three different tile sets, more than 50 layouts, and a tournament mode with 28 levels of difficulty. Multiplayer options and background music are also included.

WordPop!

WordPop! is a new word game for Palm Powered devices from Smart Box Design that features a list of over 80,000 word possibilities.

The game is played on a game board comprised of randomly placed letter tiles. The object is to clear the board by creating words from the letter tiles. As each word is formed, the tiles in the word are removed and the remaining tiles fall into the vacated spaces and create new word possibilities.

Zodiac Version of Shattered Worlds: Space Combat

Astraware has also released a special Zodiac-enhanced version of Shattered Worlds: Space Combat.

New features include analog control with the Zodiac joystick, rumble effects, and full 320 x 480 hi res+ landscape display support. A new mission has also been added to the game, for both the Zodiac version and the standard Palm OS/Pocket PC versions of the game.

Grand International Bangkok Derby

PlayWizard has debuted Grand International Bangkok Derby, an online GPRS horse racing game for selected Microsoft Smartphone 2002 and 2003, Pocket PC, Windows XP,and Nokia or Sony Ericsson Java mobile phones.

Each race includes a choice of six horses, with varying characteristics of speed and endurance and odds of winning. The objective is to pick the winner of each race and earn the largest jackpots.
