Chapura has introduced an upgrade to all Palm OS editions of PocketMirror 4.0, including PocketMirror Standard, PocketMirror Standard XT, PocketMirror Professional and PocketMirror Professional XT.

Each edition of this application synchronizes Microsoft Outlook Contacts, Calendar, Tasks, and Notes with the built-in personal information manager (PIM) software built into Palm OS devices.

Though many recent Palm handhelds and smartphones come with the ability to synchronize with Outlook, older models still need an application like PocketMirror. And it also offers features not available in the latest version of the Palm Desktop.

What's New

The major change in the new version is support for transferring names and email addresses from the Global Address List on a Microsoft Exchange Server to the handheld.

It also now allows users to synchronize their handheld with any single Outlook folder set to be the default folder.

Prices for the various editions of PocketMirror vary between $30 and $50. Upgrades from older versions cost $15.

More information is available on Chapura's web site.
