High Tech Computer (HTC) and Research In Motion (RIM) have announced plans to expand distribution of BlackBerry Connect on Windows Mobile devices designed by HTC.
Many handheld users might not be aware of it, but a fairly large percentage of handhelds and smartphones that bear other companies' names are actually designed and manufactured by HTC.
If HTC begins bundling BlackBerry Connect on many of the devices it creates, it will mean this suite of services will be much more widely distributed on Windows Mobile devices than it is now.

BlackBerry Connect offers secure, push-based email and calendar synchronization.
For individuals and smaller businesses, BlackBerry Internet Service allows users to access up to ten corporate and/or personal email accounts (including Microsoft Exchange, IBM Lotus Domino and many popular ISP email accounts) from a single device.
For corporate customers, BlackBerry Enterprise Server software tightly integrates with Microsoft Exchange and IBM Lotus Domino. It works with existing enterprise systems to enable secure, push-based, wireless access to email and other corporate data.
