The August 2004 Handango Yardstick reports the top mobile devices adding software, sales by category, average selling price, best-selling applications and much more. This month, the Sony Ericsson P800/P900 was the top phone and the palmOne Tungsten T Series was the top handheld adding mobile content. In the Software Sales by category section, personal productivity ranked as the leading category. The average selling price of mobile applications rose for the second month in a row to $17.14, up from $16.79 last month.
