Beiks has released LexSpell, a spell checking application for Palm OS devices that allows mobile professionals the ability to more easily proofread their documents before sharing them with clients and coworkers.
LexSpell works with many Palm OS applications and most mail clients, such as Aileron, SnapperMail, Treo Mail, and others. Dictionaries are available in American and British English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish, with sizes ranging from 100,000 to over 300,000 entries. It is also possible for the user to add words to a dictionary in order to provide a customized spell checking solution.
LexSpell will offer suggested corrections when a misspelled word is found, and will run on all handhelds running Palm OS 3.5 or higher.
The application is available for $14.95, or a bundle with two lexicons is $24.95. All lexicons are available together for $39.95. For more information or a free trial download, visit the Beiks web site.
