Small System Patch Released for LifeDrive

Less than a month after the LifeDrive Mobile Manager debuted, palmOne has posted on its web site the first system patch for this model.

The LifeDrive Update 1.0 is a small patch that fixes intermittent connectivity problems with a pair of Wi-Fi routers:

• Linksys WRT54G Wireless-G Broadband Router
• Belkin High-Speed Mode Wireless G Router

Not surprisingly, palmOne recommends that this patch be installed if the LifeDrive is being used with one of these routers. In addition, the company recommends that it be installed if the device will be connecting to public hotspots in airports, coffee shops, campuses, etc., as these could use the affected routers.
