Opera Software today announced that a version of its web browser will soon become available for smartphones running Microsoft's Windows Mobile operating system.
There are already versions of this application for other smartphone platforms, including Nokia's Series 60 and Symbian's UIQ.
All the versions offer the company's Small-Screen Rendering (SSR) technology, which allows users to browse regular Web pages on small mobile screens by reformatting the page and thus eliminating the need for horizontal scrolling.
Opera Software did not say when the Windows Mobile version of its browser would hit the market.
