PalmSource Launches New Software Store

PalmSource has unveiled a new online software store which offers more than 20,000 Palm OS software titles.

Customers can use this store to purchase and download software from their desktop computers and install it on their handhelds in the standard way. In addition, users of Palm Powered smart phones and other Internet-enabled handhelds can access the new PalmSource software store while on-the-go, which means they can browse, purchase, and install select wireless Palm OS software applications onto their devices via over-the-air (OTA) delivery. These select applications have been tested by PalmSource for easy OTA delivery.

The new store is powered by PalmGear and can be found on the PalmSource web site.
