After almost two years without a release, smashcasi is pleased to announce that RemoteAmp 2.0 is now available. RemoteAmp is a Pocket PC remote control for Apple's iTunes for Windows and Nullsoft's Winamp media players. It operates over any network connection and acts as a supercharged remote interface for your entire music library, allowing users to control playback, edit playlists and much more - all from the palm of their hand.
As you might guess from the name, RemoteAmp began as a remote control for Winamp. With the new release we have not only significantly enhanced the overall app but also added support for iTunes for Windows. This makes RemoteAmp the perfect companion for Apple's Airport Express with AirTunes. Through AirTunes you can wirelessly stream music to your home stereo, and RemoteAmp offers you the complete wireless control of your music library to go along with it. While not yet ready for public release, a version of the server for Mac OS X is also in development.
Below are some of the application's highlights, for more information please see www.smashcasi.com/remoteamp/
