Earlier this year, Hamster Software released a Pocket PC version of the classic computer game Myst.
It has now followed this up with a version of the sequel, Riven. This offers the original versions graphics, movies, sounds, and music.
Like its predecessor, this game requires the player to explore a virtual world and solve puzzles in order to reach the final goal.
Not surprisingly, the hardware requirements for Riven aren't small. It needs a Pocket PC running Windows Mobile 2003 or higher, 348 MB of free expansion card space until installation completes, 160 MB of free expansion card space to run, and 16 MB of free program space.
Riven is currently available only from the PocketGear.com web site. It costs $30.
Myst is also available from that same web site for $25.
