China's leading PC maker Legend Group is supposedly preparing to release in its home market the Lenovo P300, a Palm OS model that is expected to compete with handhelds like the palmOne Tungsten E.
According to Hi PDA, the P300 will run a Chinese version of Palm OS 5 on a 200 MHz Motorola MX1 processor. It will have 16 MB of RAM and 8 MB of Flash ROM.
This model will have a 3-inch TFT color screen with a resolution of 320 by 320 pixels. It will use a virtual Graffiti area for text input.
It will include an SD/MMC slot and a D-pad. At this point, the dimensions of this model are not yet known.
The P300 is not expected to be available outside of China.
