The Toshiba e830 has been introduced in Europe, but not in the United States.
According to various sources, this isn't an accident. While the e830 will be sold in Europe and Japan, it won't be available in the U.S. It is not known at this time why Toshiba made this decision.
The e830 is an updated version of the already-available e800. All of the changes to this model are internal. Externally, it will be essentially identical to its predecessor.
It has a 4-inch 640-by-480-pixel (VGA) screen. Because this model uses Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition, its display can be easily switched between portrait and landscape modes.
The e830 offers both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 1.2 wireless networking. It includes both a CompactFlash Type II slot and an SD/MMC slot that supports SDIO.
This device is 5.3 inches high, 3.0 inches wide and 0.6 inches thick (135 mm by 77 mm by 17 mm).
