Software Updates Available for All Treo 600 Versions

Last month. palmOne began releasing a series of updates for all the different versions of the Treo 600. It announced today that a version of this update is now available for all its customers worldwide.

Although they all have the same name, there are software and sometimes hardware differences between the versions of the Treo 600 offered by the separate wireless carriers. Because of these differences, the software updates palmOne has been releasing over the past few weeks have been tailored to specific models and carriers.

However, palmOne says all of them include performance and reliability enhancements. Many of the carriers promise that their version of the upgrade will improve both data connectivity and rendering of web pages.

In order to find the update for their particular version of this smartphone, Treo 600 users should visit the palmOne support web site.

These updates are, of course, available free of charge.
