Bill Gates, Microsoft Chairman and Chief Software Architect, will make a keynote address today at the Microsoft Mobile & Embedded DevCon 2005 (MEDC).
During this, sources indicate that he'll do the formal introduction of the latest version of his company's operating system for handhelds and smartphones, code-named Magneto.
It has become clear recently that this will called Windows Mobile 5.0, not Windows Mobile 2005 as was previously thought.
For all of those who are not going to be at the MEDC conference, Microsoft is going to offer it as streaming video from its web site.
The keynote address is starting at noon today Eastern Time (-4 GMT), and will last for 1.5 hours.
Archived video of previous speeches by Gates can be found on the same web page.
