According to Barga!nPDA.com, Hewlett-Packard is going to release a Pocket PC model called the iPAQ H1900. The article goes on to say that HP has confirmed this info and the device will be available in time for the holiday shopping season for around $300.
Little else is known about this device besides that it has an SD expansion slot and a lithium ion battery. Barga!nPDA.com describes it as "slim and trim."
HP told CNet early last month that it plans to release two new iPAQs before the holiday shopping season and rumors of these models have been circulating among Pocket PC enthusiast websites for several months. Previous rumors said the mid-range model would be called the iPAQ 2200.
The market for mid-range Pocket PC models has suddenly become crowded. ViewSonic, Toshiba, and Razor have all announced Pocket PC models in this price range and Dell is expected to announce one on November 18.
