PocketMac has released iPod for Windows, which allows users of Microsoft Outlook to easily export contacts, appointments, tasks, notes, and email messages to an Apple iPod music player.
Many people may not be aware of it, but iPods are capable of displaying their owner's personal information. Though this data can be easily transferred from a Macintosh, until this solution from PocketMac there has been no convenient way for Windows users to do so.
iPod for Windows can be set to automatically export all new Outlook information whenever the iPod is plugged into the computer.
It is also possible to send Microsoft Word files to the iPod for reading while on the go.
iPod for Windows is available now for $23.41. Purchase includes both the Mac and Windows versions, and allows the user to install the software on up to three desktop computers.
System requirements include any model of Apple iPod with a USB or Firewire connection, Windows 2000 or XP, and 5 MB of free disk space.
