palmOne Releases PIM Support Update for Recent Models

palmOne has posted on its support web site a PIM Support Update for four of its handhelds.

According to palmOne:

This update corrects incompatibilities discovered between third-party desktop Personal Information Managers (PIMs) and Tungsten E, Tungsten T3, Zire 71 and Zire 72 handhelds. In addition, the update includes several smaller code adjustments and solutions.

Unfortunately, palmOne didn't give any specifics about what problems this update has been designed to correct or what is being modified by the "smaller code adjustments and solutions."
