Every few weeks, there seems to be a new rumor going around about when Palm, Inc. is going to introduce the Treo 700p.
The latest of these comes from Engadget, who, citing a "highly trusted source," says that this smartphone will be officially announced around May 15. It will supposedly be available from Sprint on May 28.
There has been no word yet on what it will cost.
More About the Treo 700p
The Treo 700p will reportedly be almost exactly the same as the Windows Mobile-powered Treo 700w that debuted this winter, but run the Palm OS instead.
This CDMA device will have support for Sprint's high-speed EV-DO wireless network, and will be usable as a modem for other devices.
It is expected to have a 320-by-320-pixel display and Bluetooth, but not Wi-Fi.
