DataViz's Docs To Go is the premier application that allows Palm OS users to edit Microsoft Office files. Today, it was announced that a version for Windows Mobile Smartphones will soon be introduced.
This application will let users create, view, and edit native Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files. This will be a significant development for the WM Smartphone platform because, unlike Pocket PCs, these devices don't come with Microsoft's Office Mobile.
Docs To Go for WM Smartphone will also allow users to view Adobe PDF files and decompress zip files that appear as email attachments.
In addition, it will include support for password protected Word and Excel files, as well as charting.
InTact
This software suite will include DataViz's InTact Technology. This means that files that are edited on a smartphone can be emailed as attachments and still retain their complex file formatting, including track changes, headers and footers, macros, and animations.
Preview It Now
DataViz is offering a public beta of this application to those who are interested in trying out a pre-release version.
This beta has been tested only on the Motorola Q, Samsung BlackJack, Samsung i320, and T-Mobile Dash only. There is no technical support available for it.
