Early last year, Verizon introduced the Treo 700w, the first Windows Mobile-based smartphone from Palm, Inc.
Several months later Sprint came out with an updated version of this device with more built-in memory. Now there is an unconfirmed report that says Verizon will soon begin offering the improved model.
Someone posting in the TreoCentral forums has found very strong evidence that Verizon will start offering the Treo 700wx in the near future.
A rebate form from this carrier clearly mentions the 700wx:

More About the Treo 700wx
This Treo greatly resembles its Windows Mobile-based predecessor. This means it has a 240-by-240-pixel touchscreen above a QWERTY keyboard.
The 700wx runs Windows Mobile 5.0 for Pocket PC on a 312 MHz processor. It includes 128 MB of built-in, non-volatile storage -- about 60 MB of which is user accessible -- and a slot for removable SD memory cards.
This CDMA phone supports high-speed EV-DO networks and includes Bluetooth 1.2.
