Outlook 2007 Support Comes to Palm's Devices

Microsoft has recently introduced a new version of its Outlook desktop application. Because this includes significant changes from the previous version, Palm, Inc. has been required to release a software update to allow all its Palm OS-based smartphones and handhelds to synchronize with it.

Anyone who uses one of these devices and wants to synchronize with Microsoft Outlook 2007's Calendar, Contacts, Tasks, and Notes on a PC running Windows XP or Windows Vista will need this update.

It is compatible with every model made by Palm, Inc. from the original 1996 Palm Pilot to the most recent device.

On the other hand, those who use the Palm Desktop instead of Outlook have no need of it. In addition, Treos running Windows Mobile can synchronize with Outlook 2007 by updating to the Windows Mobile Device Center.
