Spb Software House Releases Spb Insight 1.5

News reading on mobile devices is one of the hottest areas of growth, and application makers seem to take notice with each new and improved news reader that is released. Spb Software House, makers of the Spb Insight news reader for Windows Mobile devices, has released version 1.5, bringing a Today plug-in with two viewing modes and article thumbnails, a faster data storage system, and many other improvements to the forefront of mobile news reading.

Spb Insight's Today plug-in has both single article and list view modes, adjustable channels to show on the Today screen, article thumbnails, and other formatting and configuration features.

Spb Insight 1.5 is currently available in 13 languages and is compatible with all Windows Mobile 2003, Windows Mobile 5.0, and Windows Mobile 6 Classic/Professional devices. Globus, a worldwide leader in escorted travel, has deployed more than 200 Palm smartphones, including the new Treo 680, to its workforce throughout Europe, the United States, and Canada.

With them, tour directors will be able to get on-the-spot transmission and credit card transaction approval, access to the company's financial system, and connectivity to centralized information.
