Electric Pocket has launched LobsterTunes for Pocket PCs. This full-featured MP3 player allows users to stream music from their home PC to their handheld, wherever they are.

It has been designed so users do not need to plan their music listening before they leave home. This application offers full access to an entire non-DRM-encrypted music collection, giving users the ability to pick and choose their tunes to match their mood at-the-time.
When launched on the Pocket PC, LobsterTunes immediately goes online via Wi-Fi or 3G and connects to folders stored on their PC. Users can then browse the music library and build a playlist of the tracks they want to hear.
After the first file on a playlist has been downloaded and begins playing, this application will automatically begin downloading the rest of the tunes in the playlist. This means that users only have to wait a short time for new music to download, and they won't suffer drop-outs if the wireless connection is broken.
LobsterTunes comes equipped with features expected of any MP3 player, including Shuffle, Repeat and Electric Pocket's popular QuickMix. This feature generates a random playlist at the press of a button.
This application is available now for an introductory price of $19.95 from the Electric Pocket web site.
