New SplashTravel Pro Offers Real-time Flight, Weather, and Currency Data

SplashData has released a new version of its SplashTravel application for Palm OS. This allows users to access airline schedules, check for flight delays, obtain gate information, view worldwide weather forecasts, and look up the latest exchange rates for major currencies.

Like the standard version, the new SplashTravel Professional helps users create packing lists, check time differences between cities, track expenses, look up area codes, and much more.

SplashTravel Professional is available now on a subscription basis for $6.95 per month or $49.95 per year, and can be found at SplashData's web site.  A non-subscription version, SplashTravel Standard, includes all features except for the flight and weather data services, and is available for $29.95.

Resco Unveils New Version of Photo Viewer

Resco has released a new version of its popular picture application for Pocket PC.

Photo Viewer 2007 offers many new features, including the ability to automatically upload images to flickr.com. This saves memory space without having to delete any captured memories.
