Nokia has been churning out several new and updated smartphones lately, and this has only meant that its emphasis on capable and robust syncing to Windows PCs is also having to come up to speed.
In the latest update to its PC Suite synchronization and mobile device management software, the ability to synchronize folders and files other than the normal contacts, calendar, and tasks has been added, bringing this application more in line with the ones that ship with Palm OS and Windows Mobile devices.
In addition, a new notification feature has been added to PC Suite that, when enabled, will let users know when new add-on components are available.
Nokia also did some slight performance and bug tweaking to this application.
