It's no secret that i-Mate is putting the finishing touches on five new very high-end Windows Mobile devices in a wide variety of form-factors; the company has been talking about them since early this year.
These are expected to start appearing in the next few months, and anyone waiting for them should be happy to learn that the Federal Communications Commission has approved the first of them for release in the United States.

The Ultimate 6150 will have many high-end features, but, unlike several of its sister models, won't include a built-in keyboard or numberpad.
VGA Goodness
One of the reasons some people are interested in the Ultimate line is that every product in it -- including the 6150 -- has a VGA (640 by 480 pixel) screen.
This upcoming device will run Windows Mobile 6.0 on a 520 MHz XScale processor. It will have 128 MB of RAM and 256 MB flash memory,
It will be a quad-band GSM/EDGE phone with tri-band UMTS/HSDPA.
In addition, the 6150 will have Wi-Fi (802.11b/g) and Bluetooth 2.0.
Not all the documents that were filed with the FCC are available on this government agency's web site, but what is there includes this Windows Mobile device's user manual.
