Palm Foleo Can Use Six Apart's Blogging Software and Services

Palm, Inc. has announced that the Foleo Mobile Companion will support Six Apart's wide range of blogging-related services. With these, users will be able keep blog and journal entries up to date and stay current with their communities while on the go.

Six Apart's services are all Web-based applications, and the browser built into the Foleo will let users access and edit them more easily than on a typical smartphone.

Six Apart's Offerings

Vox is a free online service for sharing personal experiences with friends and family. Privacy filters give members plenty of control over who views their stories, photos, videos, or audio. Media integration lets members insert content from popular web services they already use, such as Amazon, Flickr, and Photobucket.

TypePad is a hosted blogging service generally used by professionals, small businesses, and enthusiasts. It provides a rich set of features for publishing, updating, and sharing information on the Web.

Movable Type is the blogging platform of choice for many businesses, enterprises, and professionals. It was designed to meet the content-management needs of growing organizations, and to serve as a social media platform to help businesses create community-driven web sites.

LiveJournal members can share their thoughts in words and media both in personal journals and explore diverse interests throughout rich communities.
