NewsGator Mobile RSS Reader for iPhone Released
Web applications for the iPhone have been coming out at a pace the mobile technology world hasn't seen in quite some time. And, as with the desktop, RSS-based applications are getting a good deal of attention. The popular NewsGator RSS service/client has been released in a version tailored for iPhone users.
Compared to stand-alone RSS applications, NewsGator Mobile for iPhone syncs with a NewsGator account that can be shared across multiple devices and web browsers. Users have the ability to mark as read/unread, label, and email posts right from the iPhone interface.

Efiko Software Introduces iPhoneRingToneMaker
In addition to new companies releasing iPhone-tuned applications, seasoned developers are broadening their scope to develop for the iPhone from other platforms. GX-5, makers of the popular Palm OS programs Treo Memo and DialByPhoto have branched into a new company, Efiko, and the first application released under the new company is iPhoneRingToneMaker. This application creates and uploads custom ringtones to iPhone devices by using tracks from the iTunes music library.
iPhoneRingToneMaker supports making ringtones out of MP3, OGG, and WAV files, and features the ability to right-click a music file and choose the option to "send ringtone to iPhone."

Kingston Now Offering 4 GB miniSD Card
Kingston is introducing a 4 GB miniSD card for use in the latest smartphones. This card is able to hold more than 2,000 images, 750 digital music tracks or 4.5 hours of MPEG4 video.
It uses the new SDHC card format, and is not backward compatible with devices that don't support SDHC.
Prices for Kingston's 4 GB miniSD card start at $62.
