Palm, Inc. and IBM have quietly released a new version of the Java WebSphere Everyplace Micro Environment for compatible Palm OS devices.
This is a Java Virtual Manager application that allows Palm OS devices to run applications written in the Java code language, like KMaps and Opera Mini.

Palm has discontinued this application's support for older devices, including the Tungsten T2, Tungsten W, and Zire 71.
Palm WebSphere Everyplace Micro Environment 5.7.2 is a free application, and can be downloaded from the Palm web site.
