Windows Mobile 6 Upgrade Released for HTC TyTN

HTC has introduced an operating system upgrade for the TyTN that will bring this smartphone up to the latest version of Windows Mobile.

The TyTN was one of the first models offered directly by HTC. It is based on the Hermes design, as were several other devices, most notably the AT&T 8525.

To download the free Windows Mobile 6 upgrade for this smartphone, TyTN owners must be members of the HTC e-Club.

What's Going to Change?

Some of the improvements in Windows Mobile 6 include the ability to display HTML-formatted email, and improved versions of the Mobile Office applications, bringing them closer to their desktop equivalents.

In addition, Microsoft has fine tuned the look of the operating system.
