Last week, Palm, Inc. revealed that a Windows Mobile 6 upgrade for the Treo 750 would be unveiled at Microsoft Australia’s TechEd conference, which is going on now.
Palm has done as promised, but it turns out that the initial release of the upgrade will only for people in Australia. Those who use this smartphone on Hutchison 3's network will be able to download the upgrade starting some time around the middle of this month.

The rest of the world will have to wait until early September to be able to install Windows Mobile 6 on their Treo 750.
When Palm and AT&T announced this spring that an operating system upgrade for the Treo 750 will be released, they also said that this will be available free of charge.
What's Going to Change?
Some of the improvements in Windows Mobile 6 include the ability to display HTML-formatted email, and improved versions of the Mobile Office applications, bringing them closer to their desktop equivalents.
In addition, Microsoft has fine tuned the look of the operating system.
Along with the other new features in Windows Mobile 6, the upgrade will bring an additional enhancement to the Treo 750: HSDPA support.
