Even since Sprint began offering the Palm Treo 755p back in May, Verizon customers have been wondering when they would get a crack at this smartphone. Unfortunately, there's bad news for these people. According to a new rumor, this carrier won't be releasing the 755p for about three more months.
phone Arena claims to have obtained an advance copy of Verizon's roadmap of product releases for this fall. This shows that his carrier won't introduce the latest Garnet OS smartphone from Palm until November.
No reason is given why Verizon customers might have to wait roughly six months after the Sprint release to get this device.

More About the Treo 755p
The Treo 755p is one of Palm's new generation of smartphones with a slimmer profile and no external antenna. It still includes a 320-by-320-pixel display and a QWERTY keyboard, though.
It runs the Garnet OS (formerly Palm OS Garnet), has about 63 MB of internal storage available to users, and a miniSD slot.
It was created for CDMA carriers, and offers support for the 3G cellular-wireless networking standard EV-DO.
