Hosted Exchange Push Email Service Coming Soon from HTC
HTC is taking the management of PIM information on the go a step further with its HTCmail hosted Exchange service that is coming later this month. This will give access to up to five different email accounts, either personal or work mailboxes via integration with Outlook 2007.
Other features of the HTCmail offering will include contacts and calendar syncing, 2 GB of email storage, anti-virus and anti-spam packages, and compatibility with all HTC devices.
HTCmail is expected to begin in France and the U.K. in September, and then spread to other markets. It will be a subscription-based offering (3, 6 or 12 months) and prices are said to be competitive with similar offerings.
