Opera Mini Getting Landscape Support

Opera has released a new beta of its free web browser for mobile devices. Possibly the most significant new feature included in this version is support for landscape mode.

In addition, Opera Mini 4 has a new Start Page that offers several search engines, plus the ability to add an additional search engine.

Reaching Out to BlackBerry Users

The new beta introduces several optimizations for BlackBerry devices, including a new user interface and menus.

"We want to make Opera Mini available to even more users, so we've improved our support for BlackBerry," said Jon von Tetzchner, CEO of Opera.
