DataViz has released an update for its Office suite for Windows Mobile smartphones without touchscreens. Documents To Go Premium Edition now offers complete Microsoft Office 2007 file support. Users can open, view, edit, and create Word, Excel and PowerPoint 2007 files and attachments on their smartphone.

Office 2007 is the most significant upgrade in this suite of applications in about a decade, leading to big changes in the associated file formats. This has forced mobile software developers to make significant changes to their applications.
Even the latest version of Microsoft's own Mobile Office does not support Office 2007 file formats, though an update is expected soon.
An earlier version of Documents To Go for Windows Mobile allowed users to open and view Microsoft Word 2007 and Excel 2007 files, but not edit them in their native .docx and .xlsx formats.
Other enhancements include a “Zip and Send” feature to compress files and email them quickly, as well as full screen support for PowerPoint presentations.
This release is also the first version of Documents To Go for Windows Mobile to be made available in French, German, Spanish, and Italian.
This application is for devices running Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 for Smartphone and Windows Mobile 6 Standard.
Pricing and Availability
Documents To Go Premium Edition for Windows Mobile retails for $29.99 and is available directly from DataViz's web site.
Customers who purchased Documents To Go Premium Edition version 3.0 will receive the update to 3.0010 at no additional cost.
