Proporta Announces Tiny but Powerful GPS Receiver

Proporta's newest product, launching next week, is the Freedom Keychain GPS SiRF III Receiver. This tiny GPS receiver, weighing in at a 30 grams, comes with the latest of GPS technology.
Working from a pocket, handbag, or briefcase, it is compatible with all the mapping software currently available. It also comes with a USB charger cable and car charger cable.
This innovative device has a solid working time of up to 10 hours, and is able to connect simultaneously to up to 20 satellite channels.
The Freedom Keychain GPS will sell for $130 from Proporta's web site.
Astraware Releases Hidden Expedition: Titanic for Palm OS and Windows Mobile
Astraware and Big Fish Games have combined to release a new gaming title for Palm OS and Windows Mobile devices called Hidden Expedition: Titanic. Players search the famed Titanic for hidden objects within the wreckage during 14 diving missions, ultimately leading to the final prize: The Crown Jewels.
Based on the best-selling PC game, Hidden Expedition: Titanic has been adapted to either using the five-way control scheme or the stylus to find a variety of artifacts hidden within the sunken ship.

TEXTR Turns SMS Messages Into Threaded Conversations
Palm Treo models have long used an IM-style chat interface to display text messages. Solutions across non-Palm branded devices have begun to trickle out, however. The most recent entry, TEXTR emulates the look and function of the Treo SMS/Messaging application, while also adding a few new features.
It offers conversation-based text messaging organized by who sent the text message. In addition it:
TEXTR is currently available for Windows Mobile 5 Pocket PC and Windows Mobile 6 Professional devices. Windows Mobile 5 Smartphone and Windows Mobile 6 Standard support is under development.

Palm Canada Releases the Treo 750 on Rogers Wireless
The Treo 750 has been released in yet another market. This time Roger Wireless, a GSM carrier in Canada, has begun to offer this smartphone.
Compared to its previous releases, Rogers Wireless gets the Treo 750 using Windows Mobile 6 and accessibility to Rogers' High-Speed Packet Access (HSPA) network.
