New On The Go Charger From Palm

Palm gets a lot of crap, some of it even from me, but this new product seems like a great idea. There are many different ways to charge your PDA on the go, from solar power to a 9-volt. Palm has an interesting twist that road warriors will like.

"Power To Go" charges in the standard cradle that comes with most Palms. The nice thing is that you can still charge your PDA while the battery is in place. It simply connects to the cradle via universal Palm connector, just like your Palm. When using the battery to charge up a near dead Palm, the user can expect at least one full charge and perhaps a second one with models featuring smaller batteries.

Power To Go will retail for $99.95. It's currently showing as not in stock on the Palm site (search for P10906U), but it should be available very soon.
