According to a forum member on the Windows Mobile enthusiast site WMExperts, the Treo 800w will include EV-DO Revision A, Bluetooth 2.0, GPS, and 802.11g Wi-Fi, as well as several minor hardware revisions.
The device will supposedly use a combination mini-USB and audio plug for sync/charge and headsets, in the style of HTC's newer Pocket PC phones. A hardware on/off switch for Wi-Fi has also been added.
The device will use a microSD card slot, feature a 2 MP camera described as taking "decent pictures," and the source claimed that the 800w would be "compatible with [Windows Mobile] 6.1 once an update is released."
Much of this information is in-line with earlier unconfirmed reports, and a picture of this model even appeared in Bill Gates' CES keynote address.
The latest rumors place the Treo 800w on track for an April release on the Sprint network.
In addition, previous rumors indicate that this model -- code-named the Drucker -- will be released by Vodafone this summer, indicating that there will be both CDMA and GSM versions of this smartphone.
