Opera Software has just taken the wraps off of Opera Mobile 9.5, the next version of its Web browser for smartphones and sophisticated feature phones.
Significant features in this application will include faster page rendering, zooming and panning on web pages, and Flash support.
It will use Opera's Presto rendering engine to achieve page load speeds comparable to a desktop experience, including pages with heavy use of programming languages such as JavaScript and Ajax.
If Flash Lite 3 is included, users will be able to watch videos on sites like YouTube.
Coming Soon
Opera Mobile 9.5 will be available on all major platforms including Windows Mobile, Symbian S60 and UIQ, and Linux.
However, exactly when this application will be available has not yet been announced.
A video demonstration of Opera Mobile 9.5 is available on Opera Software's web site.
