HTC Releases Small System Software Update for AT&T Tilt

HTC has posted on its web site a system software update for the AT&T Tilt. This is not a major upgrade, but rather a maintenance release.

It includes:

• Enhanced Bluetooth performance.
• Enables DTMF tones for the slide-out QWERTY keyboard.
• Improves overall device performance and stability.
• Includes Microsoft Adaptation Kit Update (AKU) 0.4.4.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 Will Be Manufactured by HTC

The biggest news in recent weeks has been the announcement of Sony Ericsson's first Windows Mobile smartphone, the Xperia X1. This device is still many months away from being released, but the Chinese newspaper Economic Daily News is reporting that it will be manufactured by HTC.
