All Sprint Stores Temporarily Closing Today
Sprint has just announced that it lost $29.5 billion last quarter, as its number of subscribers keeps dropping. In what's likely a related event, later today all its retail stores will be briefly closed.
This telecom's stores will be shut down from 9 AM to 11 AM PST for as its employees watch a webcast, according to Engadget.
Microsoft Releases Daylight Saving Time Update
A new daylight saving time (DST) update is available for Windows Mobile-based devices. This changes the time zone data to accommodate DST changes in several countries.
Specifically, it handles new DST rules for Australia and Tasmania, as well as changes to the Baghdad time zone. In addition, it also includes the changes that were part of a DST update released in August 2007.
