Easily Remove Duplicate Entries from Your Contacts with DupeDeDupe

Paul O'Brien of MoDoCo has created a free utility that quickly removes duplicate entries from the list of contacts in a Windows Mobile device. 

DupeDeDupe has a very basic user interface. It looks for duplicates, and then gives the user the option to remove them. Contacts are compared based on the Email field and Home, Work, and Mobile phone fields. If all those match, it's deemed a duplicate.

Alltel Touch Upgraded to EV-DO Rev. A

Alltel's has released a system software update for its version of the HTC Touch that brings support for EV-DO Rev. A to this Windows Moble smartphone. This should increase the speed at which data is uploaded to the network. Alltel is the first to offer a version of this device with EV-DO Rev. A.

In addition, HTC says this ROM update improves Bluetooth performance by fixing connectivity issues with some headsets and other devices, and adds the ability to receive video messages.
