Astraware Solitaire Comes to Symbian S60 and UIQ
Astraware Solitaire is now available for smartphones running Symbian S60 3rd Edition and UIQ 3. This features twelve of the most well-known single-player card games, including Klondike, Pyramid, Spider, and Freecell.
The regular price is $19.95, but it's available for $9.95 until June 23 on Astraware's website.
This game was released for Palm OS and Windows Mobile devices in June 2007.
Windows Live Now Available for S60
Microsoft has enabled its online services to be utilized on more mobile devices with the introduction of the Windows Live client for Nokia's Symbian S60 devices. Featuring mini-applications such as Windows Live Hotmail, Windows Live Messenger, Windows Live Spaces, and Live Search, the client aims to keep Nokia S60 users connected to their Microsoft life.
Windows Live integrates with with the default Contacts, Messenger, and Nokia Search applications. In addition, search bookmarks are added to the browser's bookmarks folder. Users are also able to upload pictures to their Live Spaces photo gallery.
Windows Live for S60 is a free application and is compatible with most Nokia S60 models such as the N95 and N82. For more information and to download, visit the Windows Live page at the Nokia website.
New Firmware Updates Released for Nokia E51 and E61i
Adding to the list of devices that have seen firmware updates, Nokia has released updates for two E-series models, the E51 candybar and E61i QWERTY smartphones. The E51 has gone from from v100.34.30 to v200.34.36, while the E61i has been updated to v3.0633.69.00.
Both devices can be updated via the Nokia Software Updater program on Windows XP computers. Some Windows Vista users have been able to update using the Nokia Software Updater in Windows XP compatibility mode.
