An Overview of the Samsung i788
The i788 is a variation of the Samsung i780 that will, unlike its sister model, include the all the wireless frequencies used in N. America.
With its tablet shape and built-in keyboard, this model will start out looking like the earlier BlackJack models, but there will be a number of significant differences.
For one, the i788 is expected to run Microsoft Windows Mobile 6 Professional and therefore include a touchscreen, something its predecessors do not have.
In addition, this device will have an on-screen pointer controlled by a touchpad built into the D-pad.
If that weren't enough, this Samsung model could be one of the first Windows Mobile devices with a 320-by-320-pixel display.
If the AT&T version includes all the features of the i780, it will have 3G, Wi-Fi, a GPS receiver, and a microSD card slot.
The unconfirmed information on the Samsung i788 didn't say anything about when this smartphone will be released by AT&T or at what price.
