Strong evidence has emerged that Sprint will soon release operating system upgrades for two of its Windows Mobile-based smartphones.

Many users of the HTC Touch and HTC Mogul have been eagerly awaiting their upgrades to Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro since Sprint announced in April that it would release them.
It seems the wait is almost over. What are supposedly the official versions of these OS upgrades have leaked out, and now appear on xda-developers.com. This has happened with system upgrades for other smartphones, and the official release followed shortly thereafter.
What's New in this Upgrade?
As its version number suggests, Windows Mobile 6.1 isn't radically different from 6.0.
The major improvement the Mogul and Touch will see will be in Internet Explorer, which gets a new rendering engine based on Internet Explorer 6 for the desktop, as well as a "Zoom Out" mode for full page preview.
The upgrades will also include Microsoft's threaded Text messaging app.
