Opera Mobile 9.5 Public Beta Coming Next Month
Opera Software says it is almost ready to release Opera Mobile 9.5 for Windows Mobile to the world. The company currently expects to release the first beta on July 15.
Opera Mobile 9.5 will be based on the same rendering engine as Opera 9.5 for desktop PCs.

WorldMate Live Released for Windows Mobile
WorldMate Live is an automated travel solution for connected devices that enables the checking of flight status and alerts, flight schedules, weather forecasts, and more, while also assisting users in managing trip iteneraries and travel expenses. Now released as a commerical application and service for Windows Mobile users, WorldMate Live takes those services and makes them easier to access in a consolidated application.

Astraware Introduces Westward for Symbian S60 and UIQ Mobiles
Astraware has extended more support towards Symbian S60 and UIQ users by porting the recent release Westward, an adventure game with Wild West themes, for these platforms.
Westward is a role playing game where players control the destiny of the Wild West by building thriving towns; exploring uncharted plains, dense forests, and rocky canyons; and guiding their settlers to safety and success.
Already available for Palm OS and Windows Mobile devices, the Symbian release of Westward takes full advantage of the non-touchscreen (S60) and touchscreen (UIQ) interfaces to present compelling gameplay options. It features four different locations to explore, with more than 20 game levels, a variety of resources, natural disasters, and more to engage users along its storyline.
